Odd occurance when (not) starting???

Question for you guys...I've got an '05 screw I got last March. On 2-3 occassions it would not start with the key all the way "torqed"? I'm definitely not short stroking it. But here's my issue...two of those times, everything RESET, radio settings, time etc.. first time it happened I put everything back..no problem. Well, it happened again last week and since then the CD player (6 disc/MP3) won't get through a disc w/o throwing "bad disc" messages or rapidly skipping ahead. Now mine you, these are the same 6 discs that have been sitting in the changer and worked like clockwork for about the last month. I tried the diagnostic (press 3+6 pre-sets) for both the radio & CD and both say PASS? Is there something else I can try before I haul this thing into my dealer yet ANOTHER time??? Thanks for your thoughts.

My guess is it would be the battery, maybe a leak some where in the wireing.
