2005 Lariat Wood Steering Wheel Pictures - Opinions Wanted!

Hey Guys,

I'm thinking about putting a wood and leather steering wheel on my Lariat to break up the dash a little bit and give it a more luxury feel.

Do you guys think the steering wheel below will match? I've also included a picture of my interior.

I remember people talking about the 2 different tans in 04 and 05. I have no idea which one I have and if they are the same (wheel pictured and my interior).

Also, is the wood the same? Do you think it would be a bad idea since the wood grain goes left to right instead of up and down like the wood on the dash?

Thanks again fellas,

Duke

I think it will look awsome. I am thinking about getting a carbon fiber one for my fx4

I'm just not sure about the wood grain going left to right on the wheel but then up and down on the dash. What do you guys think?

I found this one that has the matching factory FX4 "Carbon Fiber".

I think that the wood looks nice and would match the interior of your truck. I particularly don't like wood steering wheel because on long drives my hands get sweaty and slip. I also don't feel Like I have a supple grip on the wheel if I need to make a harsh maneuver. Just My Opinion(JMO)
