12-14 is about what your going to get on these 5.4's, street, hwy, it all averages out in the end. im @ 13.4 currently. It sucks, but we made our bed by buying such big *** truck so.... Either sell it and look like every other gomer in a prius, or just grin and bear it.

If i drove how id LIKE TO, id be getting 5-9 mpg im sure.

Wow, that sounds good, BUT, do you ever break past 2500 RPM's?

And i kind of resent that "junk" comment BTW.

lol. sorry about that.

Yeah, I mean i'm a lil above the moderate driver level persay. I do punch it every
now and then. I'm going to be doing intake-exhaust shortly and i'm hoping to get some info off of here telling me if teh majority are seeing some increases in MPG

I live 1.4 miles from work. In that 1.4 miles I have 4 stoplights and 1 stop sign. That explains why I get the mileage I do.

Other than that, I love this truck...

14.7 mpg before Edge
about 16 mpg after Edge. Stupid pump cut me off at $50.00 so I can't get after Edge exact.

Thats 65% city driving.

That's just a Ford for ya. Had an 00 before this 04. This truck gets 12-14 everyday driving, about 2 mpg better then my 00. If you want economy get a Chevy. If you want dependability and very few repairs, stay with the Ford...

I got about 16 on the hwy (80+), with the edge on 93 i get about 18 (80+). 5.4, 3.73 Screw. I have the 18 in lariat tires so that helps bump my rpms down and the edge helps keep the power up too...
