Question wrench warning light

while i was up four wheeling in the snow, my little wrench light came on. i know its for the throttle control. it was on for a while, then we stopped, so i shut the truck off and started it back up, and it was gone. should i take it to the dealer? or could it just be some fluke thing that wont happen again?

If it's under warranty I would let them take a look at it. If the light came on, perhaps the PCM recorded the code and something may still need to be looked at.Hope they take care of you.

Mine did the same thing about a year ago and I asked the deler about it and they said not to worry about it unless it kept coming on. It hasn't done it since.

Mine came on, stayed on, it was the throttle body defective. had to be replaced.

Thanks for the info. I know what to look for if it happens to me.
