Thumper do you actually go somewhere every day that you don't know how to get to? If not what do you use it for....I thought the only thing its good for is telling you how to get around in an unfamiliar area. If not what do you really use it for? I figured riding around with a map of the same roads on it 90% of the time would get old. I am not trying to be a smart *** I am just trying to convince myself I need one.

I work for a real estate company which requires me delivering flyers and what not to a lot of unfamiliar areas so I just plug in the address and bingo. It also tells you the quickest ways so that helps out a lot.

I dont think $200 is gonna get you an amp worth anything.

In my Stang I used to have a serious system. 2 Alpine 10" subs, Alpine Seperates in the back, Oz Audio mid and tweeter in the front, Alpine head unit (non DVD, non Screen) an Alpine amp for the front and rear speakers and a US Amps US1000 for the subs. Pus all the wire, fuse holders, fuse block with digital volt meter in it and other stuff, I was well over $3000.

If I were you, realize right now, that if you want a screen and navigation, its gonna be way more than $1800. Figure out what you want and build it piece by piece. Even if it takes you a year to get it all togeher, you wont have to settle for something you dont want.

Good Luck

Oh, Ive had good luck with these guys www.etronics.com
