Odd noise while making sharp turns
Been noticing a strange noise when making very sharp, low speed turns. Can't tell if it is from front or rear. It sounds like "whoop, whoop, whoop" and seems to vary with wheel speed. Wondering if it may be from the rear diff (which had the clutch packs replaced over a year ago and the diff fluid is a nasty grey/black when I checked it). Can't feel any vibe, only hear this whoop, whoop, whoop. Haven't found anything rubbing in front or back.
Any ideas?
Think changing the rear gear fluid would help?
Thanks, Steve

whoop whoop whoop... is the noise it makes. I took mine in a year ago and got the clutch packs replaced due to a clunk at take off, then I got that noise. I'll be taking it back in to the dealer for its yearly reflash and to get that noise addressed too.

Its coming from the rear... Your limited slip is chattering... Try adding some friction modifier..
Mine hase done it ever since I put my 4.10's in... Im not really too worried about it..
I'm gonna take it back to the guy again and have him replace the bearing in the back too.... FOrd tech used too much silicon at dealership... my gear guy said the silicon got into the bearings and really f'd em up.
