Throttle Body Problem.

I was driving down the highway at about 65mph and had just passed 3 cars when all of a sudden I lost all my power. The truck was still running but I had no response with the throttle. I immediately pulled over and shut it down. I waited about 5 minutes to restart and when I did it revved to over 2500 RPM and then started cutting out. I had it towed to the local dealer and they are telling me that the throttle body shorted out and it is fried as well as a pcm. They are currently waiting on the parts and said it could take up to a week. Anyone else have any experience with this? I am nervous as all get out and I am considering trading for an '06. I love the truck but I hate mechanical problems.

P.S. HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO!!!

I had about 1600 miles on my truck, left work one afternoon, got into the traffic going home and the truck started acting up. When I would try to pass, it would not do any thing, then it would take off and was running about 2500 rpms and would not shift to overdrive. The "wrench" light came on meaning get it to the shop. I called the dealer which was 25 miles away and they said try to get it to them. I used about 1/4 tank getting there, but made it. They ran the check and said it came back as a bad throttle body. That was replaced, but then I had the famous lag when trying to accelerate. At about 3000 miles, I had the reflash done and the truck has run great ever since. I have almost 20,000 on it now and I am totally pleased with it.
