The truck on the commercial with the semi had the 20" wheel option. Wouldn't you have to level the front to run 20" wheels? I don't know, just a thought since they might rub with the rake.

The tires on the 20" wheels have a smaller aspect ratio (shorter sidewalls) but the overall tire height is the same.

The thing in the back of the truck looks like the cable spool to me. It would be heavy enough to make the back squat some, it that is what it is. And yes, a pulley system would make it easier to accomplish, but then so does their turning the Semi's lights on. Just some hoaky sales gimmick dreamed up by some dumb advertising exec. No telling what they got paid for the idea.

Hey that dumb ad exec. is laughing all the way to the bank. It looks like the ad worked as much publicity as it's getting.

At least that F-150 ad isn't as stupid as the Tundra ad I have been seeing that has a meteor hitting it and the truck keeps going. After that, on the screen it says the Tundra is meteor proof.

I dont get that commercial. With the right pulley, a person could pull that rig off the ground...

I bet we are supposed to assume it is the wrong pulley, either that are we are too dumb to know that the pulley makes a difference.

Now I need to see this commercial. Online anywhere?

We can probably see the effects of the pulleys by watching how far the truck pulls vs. how much the semi rises.

Anyone know how much a semi weighs??

I'm not sure if the early 06's had rectangular lights...mine was built in August 05' I'm not sure they would build an 06' model before then but I could be wrong? I'd like to see if anyone has those commercials on the computer here...or can someone possibly do it?

i dont feel like quoting so.. someone asked how much that peterbuilt weighed.. it weighs between 17,500 and 19,000 lbs.. the most that flippin SCREW can tow is 9500.... and i doubt even that sence its a Fx4...

o well seeing a truck parked under a semi is kinda amusing though
