Take your pick, Flowmaster, Roush, Magnaflow.

Not too loud, Magnaflow is probably your best bet.

He's looking for something not too loud. That 40-series has got to be waaaaaay loud!

For a some-what mellow muffler, I'd look at the Magnaflow 5x8x30 (overall length) si/so. The sound is a little more aggresive than stock, but not too loud. Yes, that's what I have. Maybe one of these days I'll get around to posting a sound clip.

If you don't want any drone, don't go with the Magnaflow. Get's it at 1800-2000 rpm. If I could do it over, I would go with the Borla. Supposedly no drone and theirs is made of GOOD stainless. The magnet sticks to the entire Magnaflow system except for the tip. My magnaflow is showing rust already in only a month! SOUNDS pretty good though overall except for the drone(sometimes I don't mind it, other times I hate it) although I must admit I've pretty much gotten used to it.

Anyway, good luck. It's almost impossible to get an idea how it sounds from a sound clip on your computer and everyones perception of what sounds good and what is loud or not, or what is drone, is obviously different. Really need to hear it in person.

If you want no drone go with Borla. Not too loud but people know that you have exhaust on your truck when you go by. Acceleration is when the sound of the system really shows. I would say as close to stock quietness as you're going to get at cruising! BORLA

I recently heard a full banks cat back. It was off the chain when you really step on it. inside the cab you could hear it but you don't hear any of that drone during extended time in the cab.
