Just a Magnaflow muffler in your stock pipe shouldn't cost you more than $130-$150. A tip will be a little more. It will sound great and you will make the same gains as a kit. The large mandrel bent pipes aren't necessary unless you are running some serious power. Besides, your stock pipes from the manifolds back are crush bent 2.5 inch anyway, so what's the point of a 3" mandrel bent kit?

I have the Magnaflow Cat-Back SI/SO setup.

There is DRONE at 1900-2000RPM's. On and off the highway. It's not terribly bad but noticeable and some days it's louder than others, I guess it depends on the weather.

Some days I hate it and want to drag the stock exhaust back down from the attic and slap it on, some days I am glad I have the Magnaflow.....

Kinda makes me wish I looked into the Borla from what others are saying in the forums...

Everyone has their own opinion of loud, but our trucks are not loud no matter what muffler you have [my opinion]. I have a single chamber flowmaster, probably the loudest muffler available and my truck is somewhat loud but not scary loud. I will get a video clip of it hopefully tomorrow (new camera comes in).

Go with Gibson, its a cheaper alternative as compared to Borla and has a quiet rumble when you crank it up and doesnt really get too loud all the way through the rpm levels. You can definitely tell its not stock but it doesnt rumble my ear drums while im driving, which is what i was going for. Ive got the SIDO behind the right rear. they took down the clip to listen for it on their website so i dont have any clips.
