I will keep the board posted when you can actually order the components.

06+ does not have powered rail. they do have the 12V power cable above the first bin. the key to DVD is the prep kit.
We are working ( still ) to get an aftermarket harness for DVD.

Wow great to see you stop back.

Is there a way to put powered rails in? Do you have plans on offering some sort of upgrade? I'd love to make use of those rails with some upgrades.

Keep us up to date

There is a hole above the 1st bin and a cable. I don't have the DVD pre-wire option.... What is that cable/plug for 12v?

According to the website, the DVD uses wireless headsets and does not tie into the audio system.

Also the hidden power supply wiring is in late 2005 and 2006 models only.

there is a "want to buy" link up now on the site. I sent a request for the iPod dock and BlueConnct system. I will post whatever I hear from them.

I am interested in the Brandmotion Blueconnect setup for handsfree phone operation. I have an 04 FX4 with the rail system. I do not have the opening in the headliner to connect to the existing wiring. Does anyone know how the Blueconnect setup connects to the 04s? Do you have to splice into the existing wiring for the dome light or is there some type of power pigtail connector that would connect to both the dome light and the Blueconnect system? Has anyone installed this system in their 04 trucks with the rail system?

Sniper4X4:

Call them and tell them that you have an '04 & you need the power harness with the BlueConnect. The harness connects to the back of the radio and runs up the A-pillar to the rail. You'd have to cut your own hole in the headliner to run the pigtail out to the bin. I've installed a couple of these & it's really pretty straight forward.

All:

You can contact Brandmotion by phone and talk to their call center about the harness that allows you to connect the DVD (RPFD012BK - $125), and they have a 12v power harness (5000-BCPWH - $40) for the 2004 that they include with with the BlueConnect Non-rail console.
