vrroooooooooOOOMM shift

Dad rode with me, he was like, "why are you getting out of it" LOL. Seems like as soon as it hits boost it shifts. Turn OD off and it will pull in 3rd till 4900-5krpms before rev limiter.

I miss shifting at 5300rpm

Oh well dynotune at HPP coming soon

That made my day.

I can't wait to see your 0-60 times when it's properly tuned, same with your 1/4 mile. How much did it cost you total? I've seen the Roush for only 3900, can't get much cheaper than that can it?

Buy the time it was shipped, I got the polished vortech aftercooled kit for 4100. I thought that was a pretty good deal considering it comes polished with 48# injectors and a tuner.

That quote in your sig, I've seen the video it's related to (if thats where it's from), the guy supposedly has some wicked fast camaro, what was so funny about that, I watched it so long ago.

Also, I'm not very familiar with injectors other than they make that very wimpy clicking sound when you're idling. So what exactly do they do and how much are they to increase in size.

You obviously didnt get the video. And more air equals more fuel, bigger injectors gives that.

from what I remember, it had nothing to do with "getting" anything whatsoever, in fact, I'd rather have the link to the video than an explanation. The guy was some sort of flake (wouldn't race), thats about all I can remember.

A diablo predator tuned by vortech. Vortech locked out the shift point feature and still left stock torque management. My tuner suspects I will see atleast another 40rwhp(he said upwards of 50-60rwhp hopefully) just messing with the shift points and the torque management, but then I have a 12lb pulley to put on top of that compared to my 9lb. So it should get real interesting then

FYI, vortech claims there kit gets about 350rwhp on a 2wd truck with there tune. I'll test that out tonight with my MPH at the track see if its anywhere close to that.

Shoot me an email FFord when you get to the tuner, tell me how it goes...

keith.hendrix@murraystate.edu

I think I'm gonna get a procharger.... even though I know it'd be fun to have a roots/twin screw, I have Plenty of low end.... as you know... we have just about the same truck.
