Replace carpet w/ better quality?

Hi all,
As the proud owner of a Siberian Husky, I'm the not-so-proud owner of an F-150 with black carpet covered with dog hair. My other vehicle has black carpet also (BMW) but the hair was never an issue. A quick pass with the shop-vac and the hair was all gone. With the F-150, the hair is stuck to the carpet!!! Even the shop-vac wont pick it up. A lint roller did the trick, but it was a big PITA. The synthetic material in our carpets is not dog friendly.

I've got some Husky floor mats on order (no pun intended), but was looking to possibly also replace the carpet with something higher quality w/ easier cleaning. (Possible even to grey, to get a 2 tone interior.)

Any experences with aftermarket carpet and how they compare to OEM?

Any thoughts on how black leather will look over grey carpet?

Thanks!

Had my carpet replaced once, and I will have to do again as a have thin spots--not good quality. I have a yellow lab with the same dog hair problem. Seems like something with a tighter nap is needed--but then it is hard to clean spills, so not sure which would be the bigger problem since my wife always spills stuff in my truck.

Anyway, I am interested too.

I very seriously douubt it, and I'm sure the question has been answered before, but does the Mark LT have better carpet than an F150? If so, it would be a worthy mod unless it costs a fortune.
