Grill Emblem Removal

My new billet grill (bolt over) just came in yesterday and I went to install it however I cannot get the grill emblem off. I removed the two nuts and no dice. Can anyone help me out. Yes, I did a search and came up with nothing. Thanks.

after you remove the nuts, there is another stud on the emblem that is held into the grille by a lock tab, if you bend the tab back, it should slide out. im going by memory, so there may be 2 tabs.

It's in there real tight.

You really feel like your going to break something getting it off.

Keep trying.
