I think it's a bit to small. I forget the exact dimensions but the length is in the 100 pixels, 128 I think.

It's 98x60...the 60 height is close to the 64 of the Edge stock bmp's so I think Jim's pic is close...I'll take it to 64 and convert to a bmp and see if I can post it here and Jim can copy it.

Jim/VMax,

I got it to 105x64 in .bmp format...I'd like to email it to you via the email address on your website...is this ok? You just put in the Edge\...\splash directory with the other .bmp's and it should upload.

The EDGE splash screens are 128 X 64 pixels and 1 bit per pixel monochrome (black and white) color depth. MS paint works with these pretty well. You can change the size using the "stretch" feature and increasing/decreasing the size until you get to 128 X 64.

Just right click the picture and save it. Open it up in the "Paint" program and save it as a Monochrome bitmap (bmp.). It is the correct size. I just gave it a try and it works.

Ya, I had that same issue with one that I made. I had to use the paint program to add and clean up some of the lines. I just played with it untill it looked right.

I saved it as a monochrome .bmp, and then I had to make it a .gif to post. Therein lies the rub...I have a zip file with all the .bmps I made including the bike. I will email it to anyone who asks me via email.
