My truck was built 11/04 and I purchased it in 3/05. My throttle body was replaced at about 1600 miles. After that, the truck was just sluggish. When I would pull out to pass at about 40 MPR and step on it, there was no response for about 2 seconds, then it would kick in and go. That lag was driving me crazy, so when I went in to get an oil change at 3,000 miles, I told them it was going to get me killed and I had heard of the TSB 04-21-14(I think thats the number, have to check to be sure) and the Service Manager, said no problem, they would take care of it. This was on a Sat afternoon. They started the reflash and thier computer locked up. They ended up keeping the truck till Monday when they could get a new download from Ford. They put about 50 miles on the truck testing it. When I got it back, it ran like a scalded ape(compared to before, anyhow). Some guys say they can not burn rubber from a standsill. Mine does, and also from a rolling start. It cured the lag as well.

It would have been worth it, even if I had to pay for it.
