how do you "regret" getting a 6 inch lift? what else is there to get that is higher that dosent cost thousands more? if you wanted to go higher you would just add to that 6 inch lift (add a leaf, spacer, body lift, blocks, etc.).

I think this is a fair question, I too would like to know of any gripes or complains anyone has, for any reason, even if it was expected. I am planning to bite down real soon here and purchase the Fabtech and put it on myself. I'd like to purchase the kit without their shocks and put a set of fox shocks on instead.

6 inch lift? Is this guy for real? He's been preoccupied with speed the entire time he's been posting and has been talking about picking up the Whipple supercharger. Now he wants to lift his truck 6 inches. That will slow you down quite a bit buddy...maybe not as much as your $12,000 sound system though.

he has also wanted to run 40" tires,...not gonna happen with just a 6" lift.

Nope no regrets, only wish they made a decent 8" instead. I like the 6 a lot but would like to clear 37s and not have to add more to the kit. The truck pretty much drives the same way as stock so I cant complain there. Its tough to get in a lot of places with a big truck around here but its a head turner and the best vehicle I have ever owned. Biggest problem is keeping in clean and on paved roads.

Absolutely NO REGRETS!!!!

On a side note, if I saw someone with a 6" lift on an F150 "running" anything larger than 22s I would have to PERSONALLY follow them home and DISOWN them from the Ford family our of principle alone...
