18" tires, what are my options?
Since my wonderful BFG Long Trails are starting to look a little thin, I've started looking at new tires. Has anyone noticed there aren't many options for those of us with 18" tires who also want White Letter's? I have always bought Michelins, but they don't even make the LTX in an 18, much less with white letters. What are you guys running?
I'm hoping Michelin comes along and makes a 265/60R18 for these trucks pretty soon, since I'm not exactly satisfied with the Long Trail T/As. I'm at 31K miles and have about 5-6/32 tread left, and I had to replace one last month because of sidewall damage.

Although they don't have white lettering, I just had a set of Nitto Terra Grapplers installed on my truck -- size 285/60. All I can say is the hype is real on these things. I played a little in some soft sand, and took it thru a couple of small mud holes... both of which would have given me complete hell with the stock Generals my truck had. In both cases the truck pulled out fine in 2WD where I had to hit 4-high with the stockers. They sing to you a little while on the road, but not much worse than the General AmeriTracs did. They have, by far, a more agressive stance and really gives the truck a new look. (Even on stock rims.) At Discount Tire Company they were $907 out the door.
