That is something I really want to do. Just saw one on ebay today. Did you get it programmed or have a dealer do it?

Yes, please fill us in on this. I have heard about some things needing to be reprogrammed during this swap and I also see that your mileage was put into the new cluster.

BTW, how long did it take you to do the swap?

Is the cluster not sitting flush? I can see the back lighting through the outside edge in certain areas.

I must say, awesome job bud. As everyone wants to know, how difficult was it? Are there any flaws in the final product, how much did it cost by finish and how "straight-forward" was it. Hope it wasn't too hard, but it looks great. I love the Lariat cluster.

Wow it came out nice, but one thing I like about the old cluster is the bigger tach compared the small a$$ one on the Lariat cluster.

The seller I bought the cluster from programmed the milleage for me. The dealer also will have to input your trucks as built data into the cluster. The swap took about an hour to complete.

That is the green light reflecting off of the chrome circle.

Yes. The swithch is there also. All of the features that the cluster have such as miles till empty, and miles per gallon work perfectly also.

It is not hard at all. It was a piece of cake thanks to "caimakale" his instructions were excellent. Here is a great thread for those of you who are planning on doing the cluster swap. Cluster Swap Thread

The cost was $250 for the cluster, $30 for the 3 button switch, $15 for the wiring harness, $5 for the D100 pins, and $210 for ford to input the as built data into the cluster. Total cost $510.00
