SWEET!!! Glad you like it smokestone!

I wouldn't even bother with the regular Roush exhaust, not when the off road exhaust is available.

I bumped a previous thread that I started with sound clips of the Roush exhaust. There are quite a few on there.

I love it!
I'm just glad I went with the offroad instead of the legal version.

Hey Smoke,
How much interior sound do you get, or resonance, at cruising speed? I've got FM Deltaflows on my wifes '01 Mustang GT convert and it rather load inside, my 65 coupe with two chamber FMs is quieter the hers. I want a slight rumble but not a roar.

To be totally honest, its not all that loud.
When you first start the truck up, it has a rumble you can hear. Once it settle's down to idle, it sounds stock again.
On my truck the sweet spot is at 1700 to 2000 RPM. You can hear it in the cab the most.
Once I get to 65, 70 MPH it then get in between the 1700 and 2000 RPM.
I really like it, LOVE it matter of fact.
I have a 87 mustang which started off with 2 chamber Flow's, then went too 3 chamber, and now I have a set of Borla XS' on it. I can hear my Kenne Bell pushing 12 psi over the exhaust.

I had a 2000 GT convertible and sold it to a friend of mine.
He put a set of 40 series Flowmaster's. His whole car shake's and resonate's pretty bad at around 2300 RPM. It sound's nice outside the car. The 2000 is totally stock. I think when he put the exhaust on, he got slower. My 04 Maxima beat him by a car length.

Are you still satisfied with the exhaust? I must confess, I went the conservative route and ordered the -06 version. Now just waiting on delivery. Ended up getting it from Jegs, they don't show it in their catalogs, but its available, about $80 cheaper than most net sites. I'm just looking to improve on the 15 mpg thirsty 5.4

Hey Mike.

I couldn't be more satisfied! Its awesome!
The exhaust in my opinion will help your mpg. So far it seems to have helped me. I'm still on my first tank, with the exhaust installed.

roughly 1 up avg-
the first tank went by fast and may have been the worst mpg yet-- lots of revving, noise making, nascar starts lol.
