FYI!! Remote Start Information
FYI!! Remote Start Information
I have been getting a few emails from members on getting info on the 2004 so to save time, I will post it here for all too see.
2004 Ford F-150 (I am sure 2005 is the same)
*12 Volt Green/Violet Ignition
*Igntion Blue/Green Ignition
*Accessory Black/Green Ignition
*Starter Red/Gray Ignition
*Tach Opposite of Red/Green at any coil.
*Lock Pink/Yellow Drivers kick panel, LOW (large wire bundle that runs under the drivers plastic door plate)
*Unlock Pink/Green Same as Lock
*Brake Green At switch above brake pedal.
*Parklights Brown At light switch
*Key Sense Black/Pink Ignition
A few notes... Our trucks have PATS, and must be bypassed in order for it to even crank over. You can use a universal bypass (which requires the use of a spare key) or a PKF3 (Keyless, easy hookup) You will need two keys to program the PKF3, or to program another key ect.. The door locks are negative pulse. If using a remote start that has (tachless mode), meaning it uses voltage sensing... dont use it, hook up a tach. I use Crimestopper on my installs, and it has the best "tachless mode" in my opinion, but it did not work on my 2004, it would start and die, so I had to run a tach wire. Test every wire before you hook to it, solder every connection.....

You can catch the brake in the left kick along with the park lights with lock and unlock. You can also catch them at your trailer harness plug if you have them. It is easier to run two harnesses, one to the left kick, and one to the ignition harness.
