Chime Location

I have given up trying to disarm seat belt chime and assorted warnings - I will now attempt to unplug the chime wire ~ where is it located ? Thanks

The seatbelt reminder is simple to turn off. Follow the instructions in the owner's manual. It has several steps that have to be done in order and are repetitive but it works. What other chimes/warnings are you speaking of?

That would be "dumb" luck! I bought mine brand new (06) and I dont have the door chime, or the seatbelt chime, and the only kind of luck I ever have is "dumb" luck! Do you have the seatbelt chime?

Thanks to everyone for their intelligent answers and help ! I wear the seat belt on the roads , but do a lot of stop and go movement on private property where the chime is a nuisance . The dealer has made numerous attempts , as have I , and no one seems to be able to silence the chime ! The procedure in the owners manual is not working .

If you are on private property and making frequent stops and traveling at slow speeds....just buckle your seat belt behind you....easy fix....

That happended to me, it wouldnt on the truck I use at work. It worked fine on my own truck. Guys at work were complaining about it and didnt know you could disable it, so I tried showing off. When I did the odd silly looking procedure a few times and it didnt work, I looked really stupid.
