Water Dripping From Exhaust System Near Engine, Normal??

Clear water drips from the exhaust system near the engine on my 2006 5.4L.

The water drips occurs just downstream from the left cylinder bank exhaust pipe, where the exhaust makes a 90 turn to cross over to join up with the right cylinder bank exhaust. There is a joint in the exhaust system and clear water drips out of that coupling.

Is this normal?????? I assume it is normal condensation while the engine is still warming up, but should it be coming out in this location???

Must be normal. Mine does it from that exact same location and only when first started in the morning.

Mine was doing it for the first month or so. Maybe the hole rusted shut. HAHA
I haven't see anything in awhile.

Normal or not, mine has done it for 12,866 miles and 15 months.

Yep, leaks a spot of clear water every time it starts cold.
Has since new.

Yep...mine does it also on cold start as it warms.

Has anyone ever took theirs to the service department and questioned whether it should do this or not? I have yet to crawl under it and investigate the source of the water. My thoughts until now is that it is condensation. Now you have me wondering. Could this be corrosive to the exhaust system?

Yeah, I'd say purely condensation because the "puddle" almost seems drinkable and appears very clean. I didn't say to drink it though

I found some old posts on here that discussed this issue and it seems there are machined "weep" holes in that location of the exhuast just for the purpose of draining condensation from the system.

I will have to slide under my truck when it cools and look for those machined holes.
