Help! I have the front strut assembly apart putting in my lift. I have the spring compressed but don't remember which way the white rubber donut goes over the shock? Is the wide end on the top with the smaller end on the bottom, or the other way around? Thanks!

 

well its a part youd have to pay attention to when you take off, it wont be in the directions. have you taken apart the other side yet? i just did 4 struts a week ago and i cant remember which way the piece goes!! sorry!!

 

Just for the record, The small end goes down. I pulled the sleve down on the other side and took a look. Thanks for the info.
