Help me decide..Side or rear exit

Im having a custom exhaust done tommorow and trying to decide if I should go with a dual side exit or just have them come from under the bumper. Post up pics and opinions of what you have to help me make my decision. Thanks.

I must say, Thumpers is the nicest side exit I've seen, but I opted for out the back. This picture sux, but its all I have other than side views ( check my gallery )

A few thoughts for you. If you never drive on a muddy/dirt road then the side exit behind the rear tires does looks cool.
If you do drive on muddy/dirty roads (or heaven forbid go off-roading :-) all you will be doing is continually throwing crap from your rear tires on those pretty stainless tips. IF I was going to do a side exit I would do it ala Lightning and have 2 exiting on the passenger side in FRONT of the rear tire to avoid this issue or just do the normal Dual Rear Straight Exit type.

Rear for looks. Side for damage control. I once broke a tailpipe off one of my cars after backing up into a hill. I like to back the truck in to a lot of spaces.

Good point! That reminds me when I was backing my M101 Army Trailer filled with dirt with my Jeep Rubicon thru the woods on my property. I was backing up a slight incline and all of all sudden it felt like it was stuck, of course silly me I put it in 4 Low, locked both factory air lockers and gunned it.. It stalled and wouldn't start, I was confused and worked on it for 30 minutes checking fuses, spark etc. By luck I happened to look under and my new Banks Stainless exhaust (rear exit) was bent back under the rear axle and kinked flat where it bent. Walked back to shop and grabbed a hacksaw, cut off kinked part and it fired right up! ... Lesson learned!

Remembering this makes me now vote for just dual side exit in front of tire (Lighting style).

Lightning style still gets beat up/dirty because of our large open wheelwells. I know mine do....winter's here and it sucks to keep my tips clean!

Thread drift. What is inside the rear bumper? Is it a simple steel job, or is there plastic crush zone stuff? I was thinking it would be cool to do an exhaust through the bumper. Although I think the bumper position may be too high to be able to angle the exhaust tube up there. I just dig the old 50s exhausts like that.
