Very Squeeky Passenger Seat...Warranty?

I have noticed over the last week that when my wife sits in the passenger's seat, it has a metallic squeek that is plain annoying! She weighs all of 160 lbs (We're expecting in May) and it just makes a lot of noise.

Is this something that would be covered under MFG Warranty?

It should be covered under 3/36, but I dunno how they'd go about fixing it. You'll probably get snowballed into trying to believe that it's normal. I skimmed through and I don't see any pertinent TSBs to that.

I had the same problem with my 02 F150 passenger seat. They fixed it by replacing the bottom part of my seat and it was all covered by the warranty.

Maybe after the kiddo's born the seat will stop squeaking?

My driver seat squeaked. Very annoying. Dealer replaced the bottom seat frame/track. No more squeak.

My drivers seat did some squeaking, more of a creak when I shifted around on the seat. I figured I caused it when I put the power track under it. Then when I was recovering with the leather I fiddled with the metal springs, just moved them around and noticed that the creak sound came from the spring itself. Anyway, after putting the new covers on it stopped creaking. I think the noise comes from one or more springs being twisted a little.
