I'm about to continue the mods on my truck, and two of them include painting the mirrors and painting the FX4 fender flares on my truck.

Due to the texture on the flares, I'd much rather pick up a set of factory ford lariat/king ranch flares that are smooth and painted, but they didn't come in bright red for the 04-05's. I have not searched to see if they were available for 2006 though, or if they are available painted for the FX4's in one of the new luxury packages.

Could one of you with the parts knowledge look this up for me? I used to have my brother as a resource for looking up parts, but he no longer works for the dealership. Also, if they don't come in red, can you buy them Paint to Match instead of getting them pre-painted?

I checked on flares from the dealer a couple of months back, according to them they don't come painted they just come primed. If I remember correctly it would have ran about $300 to $400 to order the flares and have them painted.

 

i paid 99 off ebay..i wasnt about to spend 400... fthat

and they look great to boot!.. no issues with them yet.. nor with the 3m tape pealing.
