Another efan install

I have finished my "homemade" efan install using a mAD controller and a Tbird fan (rf-24). I thought that i would post me install experiences here so here goes:
1. I rented the autozone fan puller but the wrench was warped. I used channelocks and the nut came of EASILY.
2. I removed the upper rad hose to pull the shroud/fan out. I spilled some fluid but if you are careful, you can catch most of the fluid.
3. I ran leds from the two speed fan to the cab to indicate when the fan was on, if i didnt do that, i wouldnt even know that the fan was on.
4. The fan is held in by the derale plastic pins. I am going to take some flat bar and tie the fan in to the existing holes.
5. The fan sticks up about an inch over the top of the radiator, once i get the plastic back on top, it should help seal it off.
6. I am having problems setting the temp for the fan to come on (It comes on too early), i will get up with MAD next week.
7. I havent finished cleaning up my wiring but i will as soon as i get the temp control thing resolved
8. Off idle performance seems better but havent really gotten into it yet to notice a difference.

Thanks for all the help and info...

Here are the links to my pics in my gallery for the fan,

I too am having a little trouble setting my fan temps because the one controller is broken and I can only set low temps on it (so now my fans are reversed, per se). Isn't it the idea to have one fan come on just above idle temp and the other come on with A/C or Defroster or when engine is at a high temperature. After looking at your MAD setup, I actually prefer it's wiring to my Troyer setup, how much did the entire setup run you? Did it come with adequate instructions or is it DIY. If I had to do it over again I might go with your setup.

I'm ordering the Mad Controller tommoro. I have two 14" fans that I got off ebay for CHEAP! Hopefully the controller will be here by the weekend and I can slap em' on! Hell yeah!

im having problems with my MAD controller setting the low speed temperature. I ordered the SPAL controller like asinatra. I really dont like the look of it. Im not sure my fan is a good fit for the controller anyway.

Use the scan mode on your digital odometer and set the fan to come on at 95 degrees Celcius which is like 203 degrees Fahrenheit.

Been there done that. The adjustment screw is maxed out. It comes on at 90 sometimes, 92 sometimes..... MAD told me the max adjustment should be 240. I dont know whats up with that. The SPAL looks like ticket right now.
