Steve, my wallet doesn't like you I have a good friend that's a Beamer tech over your way and he does my inspections/emissions after hours. While he can "pass" whatever, I'd hate to put him on the spot for stickers, since it's his named signed on the stickers. It's good to know the offroad will pass without any "I shouldn't do this, keep it quiet" type stuff. In any case, I've added the offroad to my list although it's probably going to 6 months to a year before I do it.

Are you sure its not just a bolt in???
I know Borla's and Magnaflow are bolt in. No welding, no cutting.
I know everything is not that easy sometime's.
Did the exhaust kit from Roush have an instruction(install) manual and sheet?

okay, upon further inspection, it is all bolt on...the only cuttting is of the old pipe. and performance wise, it acclerates smoother and a bit quicker if you ask me- much better flow i suppose, bigger pipe and so far im getting around 2 mpg better- which on my truck, is a big deal as i cant break 15 for the life of me on the highway, and in town im around 10-11 mpg. so i give it

2 mpg more. That's great too hear.

Why would they cut the stock pipe??? I wonder if the Roush system comes with a mid pipe???

I haven't logged my gas mileage much yet, but I think it improved some over the summer months when I got the exhaust installed. In the winter, our gas mileage goes to crap due to the autostart and my wife not wanting to be cold. I'll be driving from Seattle to Las Vegas with it in January, so I'll keep track of what I'm getting for highway miles then.

Guys I was wondering if you could do me a favor?

Can you check to see how big your muffler is?
Just got my Roush 07 kit today and ripped into the package and found every part in their. But man O man is that muffler small compared to the stock one.
Here's the muffler and I have another in my gallery.

Thanks guys

My truck is sitting in a yard ready to be shipped via barge, so I can't get to it, however, I do know that the muffler is fairly small. It's closer to a glass pack size than a normal muffler size.

The picture didn't come up on my comptuer (crappy dial up), but stop farting around with the pictures and put it on already... you're gonna love it!

Wow.. Sounds great.

Now I don't know whether or not to get the Magnaflow or the Roush.
