I was waiting to get this monitor/screen until Alpine came out with the adapter to fit our rail system. Well, I talked with Alpine and they said there wasn't a great enough demand for the adapter and won't be making it.

I was wondering if anyone has this monitor already installed and how you did it with the rail system? Pics would be helpful too. Thanks.

So, I guess that's a big fat "NO".

I too was waiting for Alpine, and got tired of waiting, so picked up this Farenheit monitor for cheapo...yes, I know cheap. It's just for rear viewing for my kids. $200 is what I paid for and it the shop custom fabbed something for mounting it between the rails. Take a look at my galary. The Kenwood HU isn't staying. I'm actually installing an Alpine monitor up front in the double din opening and then have the Alpine 9965 on order and going to get that custom mounted where the ash tray is. Take a look at my galary for what I've got now.
