ebay leather 20 seat

Well I (along with lots of other people it seems) am installing leather seat covers in my supercab this weekend. I was wondering if anyone got the front leather pieces for the 20 seat (center seat) with their ebay leather covers and are willing to sell them. Let me know. So far the install hasn't been too tricky. Half the battle is figureing out the best way to get the seats apart. Got the two fronts done, probably taking the rears in to be modified on tuesday. Again if you have the 20 seat let me know!

I have a flow thru console from a 2005 FX4, if you are interested. It is for trucks with the console shift. It is listed in classifieds. Pics available, just havent taken any yet.

So far the plan is to have the rears shortened. Today we are going to try and install them with some padding on the end of the seat just to see how it looks/feels. Always good to save some money...if it works

As far as the 20 seat goes I desided just to do a XLT console. Probably more cost effective considering those seats are impossible to find and it will give a fair amount more storage.

Well tried to do the padding way but no luck. I'm kind of a perfectionist so I could settle for just the padding. Plus the covers are thicker and longer than my scab covers. I tried all kinds of foam in different places, but I just couldn't get it right. I will let you know how the alterations go.

Good luck. I hope it all works out well for you. I dropped of the rear upper seat covers to a trim shop.

From: San Diego Ca,
Ok, I'm in the process of leather conversion right now. I'm trying to remove the center 20 seat so i can take it to my upholsterer. But all i can remove is the 2 torx nut on the front. I just can't seem to find the other bolts that holding it in place, so i can remove it. I'll appreciate any help guys.
Thanks

Those are the only 2 bolts. Just pull it forward and it should slide out. Make sure you have the connection for the cig lighter unhooked, I don't remember if I did that before or after. Good luck with getting the 20 seat covered. After taking to the shop, they said it would be difficult to do but not impossible.

Thanks a lot. That will end my quest for searching for some other bolts.

I'm trying to take out the whole center 20 seat, not just the armrest. Can i take the whole thing out that way?

center seat

If you are talking about the fold up seat there are only four bolts holding it down. First pull up on the seat cushion and it pops out. This will expose the two bolts that hold down the console. The other two are already exposed. Use your hex socket and the whole thing comes out all in one piece. Hope this helps. I have some pics of mine if you need them.
