Need Advice...Plow Package for F150...

What is the real deal!

Ford says you need the Snow prep package to install a plow. Includes heavy payload package which I already have. Have not upgraded springs.

Truck is the 2004 F150 Subercab, 4x4 with 5.4 engine.

Can I put an Eight foot Curtis on the front??

All opinions considered and appreciated!

Who else has a plow on the front?

Mike

8" might be alittle big, but I would have no bones going to a 7' or a 7'-6". If you go to a 8 look for a lighter plow.

and personally, I do not like curtis, but thats just me.

Check out www.Plowsite.com. There you can find info on everything.

I run a 7.6 Blizzard on my 05 screw and love it. Its one of the lighter plows out there. $2735 installed. I agree check out www.plowsite.com
