I have a 2005 scab and just did the black ebay leather conversion. I like they way the black and gray looks in the truck, except for the center console which is a light gray. I would like it black...any ideas? anyone tried painting the lid?

 

I bought one of the flow-thru consoles off of ebay which had the black pleather lid. I also painted the console black and the top covers silver

 

I like the look! So, is it the lower sides you painted black?
