I'm confused, do you have a screw or scab back seat? I have the screw covers and a scab back seat

From: San Diego Ca,
Does of you guys that did the leather seat mod. Do you really have to disconnect the negative cable in the battery when you remove the front seat? Or it doesn't matter. I'm about to do mine this weekend. Thanks

If you don't your going to set a code and your airbag light will appear which requires the dealer to reset. Disconnect it for a half hour and step on the brake pedal for 5 minutes for fully discharge the system. (This is what I was told by the company I bought my seatheaters from.)
I learned this the hard way.

i didnt remove my front seats,i thought it was way easy with out taking them out.if you take them out,you loose any leverage to tug and pull, when you tug and pull the seat will just fumble around.i had no problems doing everything right in the truck.about 1 hour on the passenger(first one) and half hour on the driver.
