If your MPG recently began to decline, it's more than likely related to the winter gas blend you are using. Try using a different station and see if that helps. Also, like sweetsc said, these are heavy trucks, so even with a better gas blend you likely won't see a huge improvement.

BTW, the reflash is still worth the time and effort, even if it doesn't improve your MPG.
I think the tsb for the 04 is different then the 05.

I have an 05 built in April. Is there TSB for this. I have searched the TSB's that this site lists but i do not see it. The page only shows 8 TSB's for the 05's is this correct?
Thanks

that gas milage is normal for a 4X4 supercrew. I had the reflash and it didn't help. I get arround 11.5 to 12 in town and 15 to 16 on the highway. that averages out to arround 13 -14 mixed. the reflash will help your throttle lag though and even give it a little mor pep. the reflash might get you .5 mpg's but don't expect alot more.

I had mine reflashed and to be honest with you it didn't help out a whole lot. The lag in the throttle is still there but not as bad as before and the gas mileage didn't change any either. I try not to go over 2200rpms and my gas mileage is usually between 13.9 and 15 provided that I don't tow anything then it drops down to about 12.5.
