Seat Help

Ok, I know there are a lot of people out there with these crappy seats that stain from a drop of water. But what have you found that works good to take the stains out. I've tried two different types of upholstery cleaner and all they seem to do is spread the stain around.
Help....

I used a home steam cleaner, and had good results.
Nothing else seemed to work.
This is on the light gray cover. When I pulled them off at about 6k miles they looked OK, but laying them out in the bright sunlight I could still see some stains. On the inside of the cover you could see every stain that I had removed.

The only thing that ever hit these seats was a very small bit of rain water (from opening the door to get in and out on rainy days, and from some spilled water from a bottle of water.
Worst staining seats I have ever seen.
The black leather in there now is not a problem.
