I thought quality was job 1. So what do they call job 2. j/k

Obviously I am retarded and don't know the assembly line lingo. I am curious though, how are the jobs broken down, like job 1 is for all f150 supercabs, job 2 is for supercrews? etc...

Job 1 is the first build and includes all styles (Reg Cab, Supercab, Screw) and then they take a 3 week break IIRC, and then Job 2, which includes any new styles (i.e. 6 foot bed on Supercrew), as well as all other styles.

Job 2

So we started job 2 today. I was talking to someone from Detroit who was here to oversee the changes and he said there were 300 new or changed parts. I asked him if that was a lot and he said no, usually a lot more. Don't ask me what is new, i only know of a few items, but they are always trying to improve these trucks even at mid model year.
