THANKS!
It is true that the labor/material to customize the ebay leather seats may run as much as $150. But just stop and think that for a $300 investment you are getting factory leather seats that would have cost at least $1k as a factory option.

ChrisAdams,

Have you been in my truck lately???

I use that exact same sunshade that you described. Silver side out everyday during the summer otherwise it just gets too hot in my black truck. I even fold it up into a disc and slide it into the pocket in the back of the passengers front seat. Strange how F150 owners have developed the same behaviors.

Later,
Ox.

05RedFX4, I think they will accept it. They just accept mine for $85. I tried $75 decline. They said the lowest thay can go is $90. I don't think they will deny you for 1 peanut. Good Luck.

I offered $75 last night, deny this morning. I offered $85 this morning, not even half an hour they accept it. Hope they don't raise the prices on this thing. I remember it started out at $60 or $65 in ebay. That's why i get one now before it went nuts, even i don't have plan to put em on yet or maybe i will. Those with leather conversions here looks pretty nice and expensive.

Congrats

They should definately be there well before Christmas. I won my bid on Monday and got a shipping notice with UPS tracking number yesterday, saying they would be at my doorstep on Thursday. Just checked progress -- my covers are heading North on I-75 somewhere between Knoxville and Lexington as I type this.

Craz3D turned me on to set of tan ones (thanks bro), however, much to my surprise, the tan covers were $300.00. So much for the cheap seat mod. I guess if I decide to do this, Im going to have to shell out more dough!!

I assume you just have Lariat wheels & grill/surround on your truck then? I thought you had a Lariat truck all this time, til you asked about tan seats.

FX4ME2, shipping from the eBay dealer is $40 non-negotiable. I bid $90 & won.
Still HELLA cheaper than having factory installed leather.
Yeah, it's a hodge podge. I have Lariat wheels, KR center caps, Lariat grille insert, with my original XLT grille surround. Go figure.

Just received my tracking info on my Leather set, should have them by Friday!!

My FTX has a custom leather interior, but I couldn't resist the price for factory leather as a possible backup for the future!

Thanks again to everyone for the "tip" about this deal!

From: San Diego Ca,
FX4ME2, $85 for the cover, $40 for shipping. CrAz3D, I'm planning to take the center seat to a local upholsterer and have them tailor the leather seat for it. I just hope it's not going to cost that much, compare to $545 from the dealer. If it does, i think i can live with the cloth center. It's fold down most the time anyway or just keep my eye on black center console in ebay. For $545 id rather hace the center console. Like you said BOO!!!
