I was wondering if power mirrors on 04 FX4 have prewired for turn signal built-in the mirror assembly? I do not have turn signal, but wound like to add them without having to wire it through the mirror housing. Thanks. Hope this makes sense.

 

you're going to cut a hole in your current mirror housing to add the turn signals?

or you're going to buy some new mirrors with the turn signals? I think alot of people have done that already and the signals do work when you plug in the new mirrors. I'm not sure about getting the heated mirror to work when you don't have the switch. I guess you can add the switch?

You can add signal mirrors. I did add Lincoln LT mirrors to my XLT. Direct fit

guys...I think I didnt make myself clear. I am adding MUTH convex mirror (you know one of those round mirrors for blind spots) but this one has built in led turn signals. So my ? is does OEM FX4 mirror housing itself have pre-wired for turn signals? I know that from the door, it is pre wired. Hopefully this clears my ???
