Yeah I was off on the 12. Sorry about that. It was 9 that was reported in C&D.

"Zero to 60 measured 9.3 seconds, the quarter-mile was 17.0 seconds at 82 mph—both at the back of the pack."

If anyone was wondering, my ceramic pads SUCK. The brake dust is still there. I'm going to go back to the shop and ask what crap they stuck on their, I think they had something to do with "eagle" in the name but not sure. I still have yet to take my back rotors in for changing, I'm an idiot. My brake pedal vibrates over every crack in the road, feels like the brake "slips" over cracks in the roads.

If there's any questions or any videos/pictures someone would like let me know. I'm going to be taking a 0-60 video again with my efans now installed (sorta) and when I've completed the proper wiring I will post my review of it as well with a side by side comparison of the 0-60 videos, I think it'll be pretty interesting to see.

when you got the CEL what did you do to clear it? I am thinking about doing the AF1 and I know I will be WOT a bit, but the truck is my daily driver and I need to take clients out etc. so I have to be careful with some mods.

Appreciate it RP.

Cola, unfortunately I haven't. I went to datalog on the dyno and the XCal2 reported errors. I followed exactly what I was supposed to do but I had to choose between double entry's sometimes and I figured either one would work. Well, I was wrong. I couldn't get the information and at the time, Troyer wasn't able to help me on the dyno from accross country. I'm trying to keep my hopes up for the XCal2, but even the dyno operator said there isn't any Air/Fuel ratio-wise changes Troyer could make, he said it all looks good. I'm probably going to just do the rest of the datalogging without a dyno because I believe that is all the dyno can represent that the XCal2 can't do as a standalone device. Did that make sense? Actually, it's pretty close to the date where I can no longer datalog with Mike, so I'm not sure if he will do it for free, we'll see.

RP, anyway to view a chart of everyone's Reputation? A standings chart if you will.

I have to say your exhaust sounds great. What size muffler did you install? How is interior noise?

There was very little interior noise, I cannot recall hearing it unless I was on it. I had the 18" SIDO Magnaflow. It was a good exhaust system, and outperformed my current Flowmaster Racing Muffler (Single Chamber). I lost a ton of low end with this muffler but it sounds killer (if it matters to you).

I was wondering about that actually. I'm looking for less dust and maybe a little better stopping grip.

I guess from what you're saying the ceramic pads are not the way to go?

Definitely go with something proven. The Carbon Kevlar Porterfields (Porterfield.com) are proven time and time again on these forums. People are reporting no brake dust whatsoever, some are reporting VERY little over time, nothing to the contrary. Go with the Porterfields, everything I've tried (duralast ceramics, raybahn (sp), Hawk or Eagle-something, etc.). I've tried many, and NONE of them helped at all. The last ones I put on, I believe the duralasts are squeeking like crazy...embarrassing. But I don't notice much brake dust (although I never did) because they're on the rear. They hardly provide brakedust as they're something like 20% of the stopping power, the front is significantly more. I'm only trying to help, someone may disagree. Porterfields are pretty cheap anyway (about $90).

Good luck!

Thats what I wanted to hear. Much thanks!

Have you heard if the Porterfields provide better stopping grip at all? I'm going to search the forum but was curious if you've heard.

Unfortunately I haven't heard much about their stopping performance. I believe they are a little worse than factory brakes but I've never had a poor performing brakepad, besides one that squeaks so I don't think you can go wrong either way.
