at negative 9 degrees mine will stay shut as well. I need to get it replaced because the bottom seal leakes water in. They told me its normal. BS. i can see the seal is a quarter of on inch short.

) with the window open. However I think everyone missed the point of my post. You do not have to ride any length with it open, just cycle it open and immediately closed every few days and it should last forever. Trust me if it was 28 here there's no way I would leave it open either!
