I just installed mine, I installed 4 at my rear and four for my front. They work great, especially they have a separate main brain/black box. Just check the orientation of thet sensor becaus it might sense the ground. Because below 1.3 foot is considered 0.0. or check the wire if there some scratch on wire. And lastly, interchange the sensor so that you can check your sensor and the main brain/black box as well. And have fun, just like me I feel like I have a third eye at my rear and front. It protects my truck and my kids as well.

The two sensor seems to work well. Anything on the corners i can see with the side mirrors. i liked the idea of drilling through just the plastic instead of the bumper and was MUCH easier.

TX, i didnt run the wire over the wheel well because i didnt have enough wire. You ran yours from the back seat (IIRC), i needed every inch of wire.

I picked up my unit from etronics. you might want to look, they have wireless units out now.

Gobra,

Which unit is wireless? Couldn't seem to find it. Also, did you get the speaker with yours so you have audible sound? Like the fact of hearing as well as seeing.

Thanks,

Brian

Sorry, the speaker is integrated in the unit now. It looks like at one time it was a separate part (the box has a place for it) but now it built into the display. It is not loud either, so it is not annoying. Perfect volume for me.

I also put in my trailer hitch and it did not pick it up. Which is good and bad.

Go to ebay and search for reverse sensor, i think it will give you a few to choose from. It isnt the PYLE brand but others have had good luck with them i think.

Gobra,

Thanks...Do you remember what brand it was. Yours sure looks like the pyle. Maybe it is a knockoff brand. What price did you pay. Can you add extra sensors at a later time if you want? You mentioned in the beginning that you thought you had a bad sensor and also that it was a Pyle PLPSe3, but you just said you didn't get the pyle brand. I'm confused. Are you meaning the brain and indicator aren't pyle, but the sensors are?

Thanks again. Just trying to get all my questions ironed out before I make the plunge. I wonder if the wireless works good. I see it on ebay, but the indicator has to be plugged into cig lighter or hard wired in somewhere. Any suggestions?

Brian

Ok, here we go. Sorry for the confusion!

1. I have the Pyle brand PLPSE3. It has only two sensors. The port for the other two sensors is blocked off and probably inactivated.
2. You should be able to get the same setup for < $50 delivered.
3. If i were to do it again, i would get the wireless brand from EBAY (not PYLE but some knockoff from Hong Kong). I would mount it in the tray on top of the dash and run the power wire under the dash tray to a key on powered source.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions let me know.

Well,

I got my sensors in..Took a while since it was the holidays and came from Hong Kong.

Pictures are great but here they are..

I ordered the 4 sensor but have only installed 2. Can't bring myself to drill in my bumper. Will try for a while to make sure I don't need them. So far so good. When it reads 0 ft I am 1 ft from an object. Have checked this several times today and it is accurat. Starts beeping at 6 ft.

Here is the inside. I mounted it just like one of the other guys. Don't think it looks bad. Mine doesn't even turn on until you put it in reverse. By this I mean, the LED stays off, so you really don't know its there. Cheaper than dealer installed.

Thanks again for everyones help and suggestions.
