Just a little FYI. Before taking it to the dealer, I could wiggle the harness where it connects to the switch and make it work. Its the assembly thats faulty, not the light itself. The connection seems to come loose. Any how no problems since it was replaced...

Later,

Mine was replaced about a month ago. I've got 35k on my truck and I think it went out at about 30k. At first you could sort of tap the up side and it would come back on, but later on nothing.

I thought I was the only one this happened to!

I could bring it in to get fixed, but honestly, I really don't care about it. The window functions no problem and I don't have time to take it into the dealer (so they can scratch their a$$ for two days doing nothing).

I don't want to derail the thread but do your windows ever make a weird thump/click noise every so often? and anther wierd thing is that some times my drivers window will go up faster than the passenger or vice-versa. However the back two ALWAYS go up perfectly.
