Early Christmas present = Look good Mod. #2
Early Christmas present = Look good Mod. #2
I realize alot of people here have it but IMO it's the best grille out there for our trucks. That's right, the '06 Harely Davidson grille. Arrived Tuesday and installed yesturday. Enjoy.
The install is super easy if you don't plan on reusing the old grille. If you do then its a PITA. There are about 15 clips that go all the way arround the grille that keep it attached to the surround that are nearly impossible to get off without breaking. I took my time and broke 3. To remove the actual surround from the truck there are 8 or so bolts. Once you get the surround off the old grille the new one just pops right in.
I got mine right from the dealer for $130 CAD. Cheaper then most aftermarket boltover grilles.

Lots of flat blade screwdrivers, and something to hold tension on the grill to keep it separated, while you work your way around.
It's really not that hard.

The clips at the bottom (or was it top?) that you have to bend sideways instead of up were the ones that I broke.

I broke 2 clips removing the surround as well. Its an easy mod but those clips are difficult not to break. removing the surround on the new grill was easy as it came right off no broken clips.
