>Sorry DAVE I had just woke

No need to be sorry, I can see how that happened and it really doesn't matter.

>Do you own a 928GT?

Currently only have 3 :-). I have owned over 2 dozen (my company specializes in them, if you ever get bored talking trucks add dot com to my user name).

>When I was younger my brothers buddy had a 928, he had left the keys to it once at >my house and I took it for a joy ride Ever since then Porsche has been my dream car.

Cool story.

Sorry, nothing that you could use for photochopping.

I am also one that thinks they look odd on these trucks. the weird gaps on the top and bottom where the curved surrond meets the straight grille bars looks kinda out of sync. I think this effect is amplified on a truck with a chrome surround or on a truck that isn't black. You don't notice the lines that the surround make as much on a black truck so I think it flows a little better. I'd like to see someone fab up a lower bumper grille to match the upper; maybe it would flow a little better.

Btw, my local dealer just got a harley f150 in on the lot - pretty awesome truck, especially the interior. I wish my black FX4 had the black headliner like the harley and the black painted dash. I guess I could tear my dash apart and paint it, now that I have seen the detailed tear down pics on FX4&EXCURSION's site. Man, hes nuts... jkjk

I agree. I don't see why there is a big hype over this grille. I like the stock way better than the Harley Davidson edition.IMHO

I don't concur. The board is a place to discuss. I could say if you don't like the thread don't read it or respond to it. And if the moderator doesn't like it,..it's his website...delete the post.
Getting back to the REAL QUESTION, I don't like the grill...matter of fact, I don't like many of the replacement grills. GLAD YOU ASKED ME THOUGH!

Thanks for sticking up for me. I thought for sure I would get bombed by the moderator. As far as the grille goes, at least I know I'm not a wavemaker. I also am not fond of too many aftermarket grilles, like the chrome or shiny billet ones. I do like black grilles though, since my truck is black.

OEM ...
made for the truck so you know it is going to fit perfect, it will last as long as your paint does, for the price its a deal.

Where are some pictures of your truck stealth ?

Digital camera's in the shop, bummer. I have a stock grille, nothing special yet. I'm thinking of a carriage works black billet grille and bumper grille though.

I don't like the Harley grill, but I also hate the honeycomb grill. I don't plan on buying either one, but I also don't fault somebody who likes them. The reason Ford makes so many different grills is that they know that different people have different tastes. We have to be tolerant of things that we don't like or agree with. Why can't we all just get along?

from what i have seen - stealth you are quick to knock something, and i'm assuming you also have a bone stock truck. so until i am proven otherwise, keep 'em comin, cos we've all done a little personalization to our trucks that we enjoy, whether you like the way it looks or not. i can understand liking the stock grilles, but i like being a little different, even if it's a small detail. many of the people on these boards are into modding their trucks... go ahead, prove me wrong and show me something that youve done to your truck that may be a better alternative, but until then at least show some respect for those that have actually put time and money into their trucks.

vvv oh yeah, eat it. vvv

I'm very happy, hell completely fascinated that you have modified your truck. I think your truck looks fine. If I dislike something, it's my desicion. If people don't like how I feel about something they have aspirations of putting or have put on their trucks, sorry. You like it, I'm OK with that. But I still think it looks like a stepladder.
