Well Guys,

I did it...I took the plunge and purchased a 2005 FX4 SCrew. I LOVE it so far.

i'll get some batteries for the digital camera and post some pictures. its a white over dark shadow grey. about to order the 2" auto springs...was thinking about the 2.5" since i'm also going to install a 110# grill guard. what do y'all think, stay with the 2"?

Just a tip on the leveling kit. I have the DayStar 2.5" kit, and I have experienced absolutely NO rubbing between the upper control arm and the coil spring like some people with the 2.5" autospring have. Even with the front end jacked up by the frame, the upper arm does not hit the coil. I have ~12,000 miles in 8 months on the kit and no problems. Just my .02.

Any new AS 2.5 will not have this problem since they have been redesigned.

yeah, autospring stated that the one i ordered was redesigned. "allowed for more articulation." i went ahead and ordered the 2.5" yesterday. i've installed the 110# grill guard. if you'll go to www.frontier-gear.com and look at the f-150, that is the one i ordered...i think it looks sharp.

How does the autospring leveling kit affect the ride compared to stock?

I heard it doesn't affect it at all. if anything, i read it might make it a little stiffer.
