See X-Plan prices online?
Someone had posted a link a while back to where you could search dealer inventory and see the x-plan price on each vehicle. When I go to it now it shows the "Simple" price.
Is there a password you can enter to see the x-plan price?

Ford did the same thing back when they were offering Family Plan prices to the public. The Family Plan prices were the equilevant to the Ford A Plan which is lower that X Plan by aprox 3%. So my quess would be that the Simple Plan prices posted are either equal to or better than X-Plan price.
If you want to double check the price, figure the MSRP by using Kelly or Edmunds then look at the dealer cost figure and deduct another 3%, this would be equal to the X Plan price structure.

Here's what I always do for pricing...
Google "ford partner code" to find a company/organization that posts their partner code and then go to http://www.fordpartner.com and login using that code. You will find actual x-plan pricing there.

I have a partner code...
When I was shopping during the summer, the family plan was lower than the Xplan pricing so it would have been pointless to exercise the X plan pricing. Prices were pretty damn low this past summer.

One of my best friends from college is now the Finance Manager for a good sized Ford dealership. According to his opinion, anyone buying on the X Plan is doing him a favor, because Ford Corporate will reimburse the dealer for their "loss" by selling at X Plan price vs. retail, but any Joe Schmoe off the street can negotiate a lower price than X Plan price, especially when doing a trade in.
In other words, a good negotiator can buy below X Plan. My truck was purchased right off the lot, for $4831 under the X Plan price, before other incentives (Ford Credit $1k, regional discount for equipment package).

Crud... there used to be an 'A/X/Z' website where you could look at what individual dealerships had on the lot and see the A/X price... I can't find it now though.
It's SOMEWHERE on this site but, I can't find it... g'luck.

I won't sign a deal until I've left the dealership at least once...If they are still talking to you, they still think they can get in your pocket.

I don't believe you for a second. My truck had MSRP of ~$35,000. X-Plan price was ~$30,500. With rebates and incentives, the truck was $24,610 + tax. Are you saying you could have gotten this truck for less than $20K?
I call BS!
Or did you trade-in something with $4831 in equity???
