different size wheels

Does anyone have different size wheels from the front and the back. If so can I see what it looks like and what sizes they are. Tell me if this would look rediculous, but I am thinking of getting either 20x8.5f/22x9b or 22x9f and
24x10b. I am looking at Centerline RF series wheels, they are probably the most inexpensive wheel ever and they would be easy to powder coat. Any opinions would be cool + or -.

I wouldn't do it. The biggest reason is that you could not properly rotate your tires.

Doesnt sound like a good idea to me. Your PCM will not like it either, ABS module, 4 wheel drive(If equipped). New vehicals dont do well with changes like that. I have heardthat having different tread patterns on tires can couse major problems with these vehicals over long periods, But that was on a Dodge. Ask some of the ford Techs. Just my opinion

YES, it would look rediculous! Why would you even want to unless you planned to airbag it and need the smallers ones up front for clearance???

Are youplanning on running a shorter tire up front? If so you would have a nasty rake...if not then you would just have more sidewall up front. Different width rims and tires of the same height wouldnt be bad, but different diameters would look like chit IMO.

You would need to slam it to look good. My old man has a bagged 64 Riviera with 20's in the back and 18's in the front and it looks in insane but only because it is very low.

22's in the front and 24's in back would look good with a minimum 3.5/6 drop.

that would really put some stress on your drive train when you put it into 4 wheel drive. smaller wheels would be turning faster.

There was a time for oversize tires on the rear, I had a 67 Coronet with 'bigs and littles' Air shocks under the rump.
That was in 1969... That time has passed...

The anti-locks wouldn't like it, as has been posted.

Is it a 4X? If it is I wouldn't do it either.

Wandell,
Good point. I never thought of that

Thanks for all of your opinions. After thinking about it last night and most of today, I would'nt do it.
My truck is a 4x2 I also plan on lowering my truck, not sure how low yet. I dont plan on bagging it, unless someone can talk me into it.

Thanks for all of your input

Go with a 2/5 drop on 24's.
