Magnaflow SIDO w/ Camaro Tips Installed w/ PICS!!!!!!
Hey Guys,
So the custom exhaust is finished! I had the camaro tips and the entire setup welded on. We had to put an extension pipe on the drivers side because we had to pull the pipe length back by the bend to keep it from vibrating on the trailer hitch.
I also had a magnaflow resonator installed. The resonator cut the sound easily in half and it's gotten a lot quieter in the week it's been on. It has a great low growl at idle, when you really punch it and on startup. But really helps elminate the moan of the 18 inch muffler on inclines, highway and city driving. (I have a lot of each)
I love the look ot it gives it a great sporty/luxury/custom look that I'm going for. I definitely haven't seen too many of these.
I washed the truck at my apt in the garage and was going to wax it in the parents heated garage but as you can see when I woke up, it was snowing. Thus I never got to wax it. I'll do it this weekend though.
I've also included pics of the Husky floor liners that I bought after seeing RPs. They were $120 for the front and rear together at Cabellas. (Thanks for posting pics RP, by the way I got your email and I'll get back to you tomorrow night regarding that. It's late and I have a ton more work to do and then a long day ahead of me tomorrow.)

In this picture you can see above those welds where there is that metal plate that keeps you from putting any style of exhaust tips closer to the bumper. The guys 04 F150 who helped me install this didn't have that plate. I think it's another difference between the 04 and 05.
That's the 1st exhaust I've ever seen, that exits under the bumper, that I like...
Looks great. I personally can't stand the two round tips under the bumper that everybody seems to have.

Hey Guys,
Thanks for all the compliments on the truck and even the sweater!
I took a chance on these tips because I thought they'd fit the design lines of our truck. Our truck is mostly all straight lines and all the panels are rectangular or squares in shape. I thought the rectangular tips would compliment these lines.
I also have them sitting mid way on the chrome bumper if you look up from underneath the tip. This helps to hide the welds and rear of the tip on a profile view, and keeps them from sticking too far out the back (which I don't think looks as good).
Overall I'm very happy with it. There are only two things that I'm ever so slightly watching.
1. The right tip is 1/4 inch lower than the left
2. This morning while backing into my parking space at work I heard the faintest sound of a bracket vibrating on the frame or other piece of metal. When I'm detailing the truck this weekend I'll go up under there and check the brackets to the frame and make sure they're still tight.
ALSO, I was so peeved this morning! The passenger's side foglight went out! That silverstar bulb has only been in there two months and the dang thing blew. I was extra careful not to touch the bulb when I installed it too. Is everyones silverstars only lasting a few months in the fog lights? I still have the package and reciept so I think I might bring them back to Wally-hell and ask to exchange for a new set.

They seem quite low, if you are looking for that luxury/custom or whatever you want to call it, look at pulling them up closer to the bumper. Dont get me wrong it looks good, but i think it could look better pulled up.

I've looked at 04's and they don't have this bracket and I have no idea what it's for. I also looked at it closely and it doesn't appear to be removeable.
