Air Horns

Does anybody have an electric air horn for thier truck? I want one really bad but I don't want to mess around with compressors and hoses.
If you do have them, how much were they and where did you get them?
Were they hard to install, and can I have it as a seperate horn that just operates from a button in the cab somewhere rather than it replace the factory horn? My neighbors would get pretty pissed if they had to hear a train horn every time I locked my doors.
Thanks guys!

So when you get pissed at someone on the road do you have to hold the horn down for a little bit in order for it to be loud?

I want the Dixie horn, like on the General Lee, but I haven't been able to find one.

Try this one. I bought mine about a month ago. I have yet a free moment to install it, but it's very loud.

Word.

Wow..amazing - I posted this same thread about 3 months ago and got flamed to death..

I really feel our horn sucks for the size of the truck. Saw a F250 one day that had an air horn, and bought crapped myself when I heard it. Loved it.

Ooop, just found a link.

To hear a sound file for this horn go to www.stebel.it click on products, click on electropneumatics, then click on Nautilus.

Don't like it. I want more of a Semi sound..

Exactly what I'm looking for as well. Amazing the people that'll pull out in front of a 5500 lb truck. Don't wanna give em a heart attack but if they pee themselves just a little bit, well it's evil but that's what I'm looking for.

I installed a set of Grover Organ Tone (24 inch & 27 inch) Air Horns on my F250. (They are hidden underneath) They sound so sweet! It was quite a project and cost a bit over $500 bucks, but it is worth it.

You're not going to get REAL air horns with out a compressor.

Exactly. Old ladies pulling out in front of a speeding 5500# truck is a little nuts. The big grill and bright headlights don't seem to be good enough.
